Glazing Safety
Using the correct glass around a building is very important, the glass should be toughened or laminated when below 800mm of a floor level or when glazed into a door. The side screens adjacent to the doors should also be safety glass as someone could put there arm through the glass if they miss the door.
JPF ensure that all glazing complies to Part N and Part K with regards to safety glass, we also consult BS6262 with regards to the areas that should use safety glass.
