Today, we shine the spotlight on our Facilities Manager, Paul Chapman!

Name: Paul Chapman

Job Title: Fleet/Facilities Manager

Joined The JPF Group in: 8 years

What are your main responsibilities at The JPF Group? Looking after the fleet/vans & cars and managing the maintenance in the factory grounds.

What is your favourite thing about working at The JPF Group? Dealing with all different things, day by day.

If you could switch jobs with someone at The JPF Group for the day, what would you like to do and why? I would like to be a Project Manager for the day, just to go around and have a look a job that has been completed.

What are your favourite aspects of your job? Working with different people each day.

What is your least favourite thing about working at The JPF Group?  I haven’t got one really, If you do your job correctly, JPF/ADC is a very nice place to work.

What has been the worst job you’ve ever had? Night shift patrol security manager, 15 hour nights. Looking after 15 security guards, not a good job at all.

On Saturdays, you can find me: Babysitting or have a lager at home.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A policeman.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Hopefully doing the same job.

What is your biggest accomplishment to date? Going from a Delivery Driver to a Fleet /Facilities Manager and learning to play the saxophone.

What is your guilty pleasure?  Having a curry at weekends and a can of lager. That is my rock and roll lifestyle now.

If we gave you £50 what would you spend it on? Music books.

Do you have any hidden talents/ what are you secretly good at?  I am a black belt in martial arts and I can play the saxophone.

What are you REALLY bad at? As you can see from the above spelling, it’s not my strong point, God bless spell check.

Describe yourself in 3 words… Happy, helpful, and hardworking. I think!

Tell us something we don’t know about you/ tell us something people would be surprised to know about you… I was once a long time ago a kiss a gram. That is another story. The things you do for your family.

If you could have one superpower what would it be? To disappear at weekends, so I didn’t have to tidy up and go shopping with the wife.

Who is the most famous person you’ve met? Brian Jones and Snake Davies, they’re very well-known saxophone players.
